Joe's Story

I graduated from Colorado College in 1971 with a BA in Biology. I received a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the Univ. of Colorado in 1975. I worked for the Colorado Depart. of Transportation as an Environmental Manager and Modal Planning Manager for 28 years. I founded Dinosaur Ridge,...Expand for more
a natural history park west of Denver, in 1989 and became its first Executive Director in 2001. I retired from Dinosaur Ridge in 2015 and moved to Pawleys Island, SC in 2017. I am now landscape photgrapher who is represented by three local galleries. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy exploring the South.
