Joe's Story
Life
Presently living in Forsyth, Montana, (Since 1975) Got out of teaching and went into motel management. I found out having a Masters degree in teaching was not a valuable commodity unless you have tenure prior to getting it. No one can afford you.
My wife Carolyn and I presently own the Sundowner Inn we managed for 22 years. Carolyn is teaching (24th year) Title I.
We raised four children...Expand for more
, who all are out of the house (2 boys, 2 girls). Being empty nesters is OK! We have five grandchildren, with hopes of another on the way at the present time. Children all live in Montana.
We were saddened last year, 2010, by the passing of my brother Nate, who died suddenly of congestive heart failure. He was a supportive and fun part of our lives.
