Joe's Story

Life Went to the University of Arkansas for one year, then joined the Navy. Married Susan Riggs (CHS '72, d. 2008) in 1977. Retired from the Navy in 1994, settled in Columbia, MD. Retired recently as a training specialist for the US Senate. Married to Anne McCorkle Thomp...Expand for more
son, from Irving, TX. Who would have thought, meeting a Texan in Maryland! We were married in June 2009 in grand Celtic style. Yes, I wore a kilt (MacKay) and no, I didn't go "regimental". Picked up the bagpipes in 2010. Maybe the school song on bagpipes at the reunion?
