Joe's Story
Life
After graduating from Cupertino I attended De Anza and Foothill Colleges, received an AA in music and played in several local rock bands (mostly surf/punk) with some friends. Most of whom attended Cupertino as well. I also was a d.j. off and on for over twenty years at Foothill College's KFJC 89.7 fm(air name Joe Friday). From time to time you can still hear me there. 1997 we would have a really cool son, who is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am now divorced but happy being a single dad. I run a local termite control company and still play my guitar whenever I can. Last year we had a reunion gig for one of my old bands The Shockwaves, and 500 people showed up at a bar that holds about 225, it was pretty cool, to take a stroll through memory lane. I still see a few tino grads from time to time, I live here in Santa Clara after spending sometime in Capitola. Rock on!
