Joey's Story
Life
I graduated from PCC in 1975 with an associate degree in nursing. Then I moved to Louisville where I still live. I received my bachelor's degree from University of Louisville in 1983. I'm a Registered Nurse and currently managing a nursing unit at Central State Hospital, a mental health facility. I worked at the Louisville General Hospital for 11 years and then worked for the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) for 11 years. I've been married 29 years. Norton Brownsboro Hospital. We have two children, Ben (28) and Sarah (22). Ben graduated from Vanderbilt University in May 2003 and the University of Louisville School of Medicine in May 2007. He's in his second year of residency in ear, nose, and throat surgery at Vanderbilt University. Sarah is working in the Emergency Room at Norton Audubon Hospital. She plans to go to nursing school. Sarah gave birth to Josephine Marie on December 29. She is soooo sweet. We also have a miniature Schnauzer, Brody.
