Art's Story
After four years in the U.S.Air Force, I worked for Pacific Telephone in San Francisco for one year. Jo and I were married, and moved to Sacramento, where she worked for Yolo County Public Health. I worked for Pac Tel in the TransmissionToll Room.
Then it was off to Sacramento State, where I finished a degree in Park and Recreation Management. I spent 3 years working for California State Parks as a Park Ranger, then 20 years with Mendocino County as the Park Director.
After leaving the county, we moved to Tucson, to be neare Jo's aging parents. Retirement caught up with me when I hit 62.

I fool around with computer stuff, and have writen several novels, each in a different style. I am self-published, meaning I don't sell anything! But it's a fun hobby to create characters and make them come to life in fiction.
We have one son, John, who lives in Connecticut, and is an I.P. attorney with G.E. We have visited the east coast quite a few times, and have found it to be very interesting.
Life in Tucson is okay, not great. The city is a mess of traffic and is visually not a very pretty place. The mountains around the city give it the beauty that makes it worthwhile to live here.
