John's Story
After Branham, I went to West Valley JC and got an AA in Liberal Arts. Then, it was off to Fresno State for a BS in Criminology. A few months after getting my degree, I started working for the Santa Clara County Department of Correction, as a correctional officer (jail guard). I spent 10 years there...until I finally had sense enough to quit. I spent the next year as a stay at home dad for my stepson (Ian) who was in kindergarten at the time. went on all the field trips, etc. After a year, a hockey buddy of mine talked me into getting my real estate license and working with him at his company. I have since moved to a larger company. Call me crazy, but I enjoy being a realtor, that can work from home, much better than being in jail.
I think that pretty much covers most of the big stuff.

I married my wife, Gigi, in October of 1997.
My daughter, Kailyn, was born in March of 2004.
