John's Story
Life
After I graduated I went into the Air National Guard and just retired after being activated for Operation Enduring Freedom, and spent a year away from my family. That was a scary time for us but we made it.
The reserves was a great experience for me going overseas and seeing places I never thought I would experience. Been working steady at the same job for the last 25 years. Time goes by so fast.
Been married for the last 19 years and enjoying every minute of it. Along with two great kids, parenthood..... man now I know what my dad meant when he said wait till you have kids. Moved to the Central Valley in 1990 and commute..... I really don't have alot of free time for myself.... working and driving to work a total of 11 and a half hours a day. I try spending time with the kids ...well I guess thats it
School
Well first lets list the schools that I went to :
James Graham Ele.1st three years.
Saint Edwards Catholic School 3rd grade to the 6th...Wish I would have finish there and then gone on to high school. Paula Meyers and Tony Lobato most popular then and in high school. there were others but they stand out to me. Good kids
MD Silva what a different enviorment then St Edwards, 2 years is just not enough time to get set...Expand for more
in who is who. New Memorial was just starting to open so half the students were going there.ALL MESSED UP. There was a girl in Miss Whites class who sat behind me always hitting me LOL cheryl...you know who you are!!!
Newark High well where do I start ahhhhhh Angel Flights, Polyester Shirt .......yeah we all wore them. Those were some good times THE MUSIC I liked rock and roll. The streakers that streaked the school ....and as I recall only got suspended...the tires stacked all the way up the flag Pole. And !!!! And how can we ever forget the Day it Snowed when we were at school That was so cool....the pictures in the yearbook say it all. I had a crush on a girl but can't devulge the secret....And Bruce Anderson if you read this you look good in the 25 year Pics.
Mrs Cultis was one of the Art teachers there and she was the best I had her at MD Siva and she was pushy, cranky, funny but she was good....to me my best teacher.
I did a class project in the literature class or something like that and we made a movie as a class it was a western film at coyote hills, frontier village....does anyone remember that.I would like to know what ever happened to the film. would be nice to have a copy to show our kids.we were all so funny and crazy back then
