John's Story
After leaving High School, I played music as I did while in school, In 1972 I was drafted into the Army,along with Harry Isham, and Tim Elder (from school). I got married before leaving for Texas (after we dated for about 3 years) and spent 2 years at Ford Hood,Texas as a Motor Pool Vehicle Inspector,and Mechanic. My wife and I had a son (Mike is now 35) and a daughter (Michelle is now 33). I am divorced now,after 29 years, and a proud Grandpa of 2 fine Grandsons, Preston,and Rob. ew area, It's hard to leave home, I did but I keep coming back. I still stay in touch with old friends from school, and I still play music. I am currently working as Blow Molding Technition for a Plastics Manufacture in KCK. Before that I had an Auto Repair business in Grandview for about 7 years, then moved the shop to Belton, before I closed in 2002. As a hobby, I buy and sell (new and used) music equipment, if your ever in the market for something look me up! If you need a good band, I can cover that too!
