John's Story
I received my Bachelor and Masters Degrees from Central Missouri State University.
After college, I worked as a Deputy Juvenile Officer for the St. Louis County Family Court. In 1996, I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement. I attended the St. Louis County Police Academy. I have worked for the City of Ballwin since 1997.
I married Lisa Hoffman (LHS Class of 1985) in 2001. Our son, Drew, was born in 2004....Expand for more
Lisa and I enjoy traveling. We have traveled throughout Europe (it helps that she is a French Teacher). We really like France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. We recently returned from a trip to France, Czech Republic, and Germany. This was Drew's first trip to Europe and he was a great traveler. Lisa had taught Drew some French and he was able to try it out on the little girls that he met on the playgrounds.
