Life
Hi to all my friends. It's been a long time.
Especially to all those Van Nuys Elementary Folks.
Wow! Where does one start. I still have my handprint in clay that we made in kindergarden in 1951. That's about all I have that you could hold in your hand, except for the memory all all you people. I see all the names of students and teachers in everyones dialoges and it really warms me.
Right after graduating VNH I went to work at UCLA, and worked there for 10 years(on the loading dock)....Expand for more
Got married and had 2 great sons, John (44) and Richard (42).I went back to school in 1976 to study dental technology and simultaniously began working as the apprentice to Bob Graves, who was the man who made the original Grammy Awards. I ended up staying with Bob and have been making the Grammys now for the past 44 years. I am married to Robinmeiklejohn and we live in the tiny town of Ridgway, Colorado (population around 900) about 7000 feet up in the San Juan Mountains.
