John's Story
Life
I spent the first 12 years of my life traveling all over the US as the Navy transferred my father from Japan to Kansas to Washington to California and finally to Virginia Beach, VA. I attended Pembroke Elementary, Bayside Jr. High and Princess Anne High School.
I got married the first time in 1977 to Ellen Forbes. Ellen and I split in 1980. I got married for the second time to Jody Crawford in 1983. She had a son, PJ, from a previous marriage. My first daughter, Nena Lori, was born in 1984. My second daughter, Jonnie Marie, was born in 1987. Jody and I split in 1990.
I got married for the third (and final) time in 1992 to Susan Campbell. Susan had a daughter, Heather, from a previous marriage. My daughters would live with us during the summer and holidays. I had known Susan for 10 years before we married; we were and still are the best of friends, we have been married for 15 years.
I now have five grandkids, two boy...Expand for more

I worked for Arby's as an assistant manager. In 1978 I went to work for Wyle Labs at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. I then spent four years at Newport News Shipyard working in the RADCON Dept. I moved to Florida and went to work for Lockheed at NASA Kennedy Space Center in 1989. I moved back to Hampton in 1991 and went back to work for Wyle Labs. I changed jobs in 2000 and went to work for Old Dominion University in the Langley Full Scale Wind Tunnel.
