John's Story
Life
1973 September: I began college at Regis College. I had probably the best time there in my whole life. Partying, skiing, concert going and managed to get a good education. In September 1996 I met Kathy whom I later married. In May 1997 I graduated. In retrospect I should have tried to milk a couple more years in college.
September 1997 I started med school at the University of Colorado. On the first day I found Dwight Keller, Mike Ramos, Kevin Smith and Darrel Wadas (Gene's older brother)registered in the class of 1981. It was great having friends with me. Somehow I managed to keep passing classes and graduated in 1981.
September 1999 Kathy and I were married.
July 1981 to June 1984 I completed my residency in Family Medicine in Fort Worth, Tx. YeeHaaw!!! it was wild times in the Old Cowtown. I had run of the hospital-surgery, trauma teams, ICU/CCU and obstetrics. Hard work, long hours and alot of...Expand for more

August 1984 I moved to Sanford North Carolina to fulfill a Public Health commitment to Uncle Sam. It was supposed to be 4 years, but somehow I just kind of stayed here. Nice climate, good people, golfing, beaches, mountains- Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina..
November 1985 Justin is born.
February 1986 I open my own medical practice in Lillington.
September 1987 Joseph is born.
July 1990 We move to our present house.
July 1990 later. Allison is born.
January 1995 Kathy feels we need another baby.
December 1995 Dan is born.
January 1997 See January 1995.
November 1997 Sarah is born.
January 1999 No, Just kidding.
May 1999 My new larger medical office is completed. I move my business across town in Lillington. It takes about a minute to drive across town. Its not a big place. Not at all like Westminster today.
September 2001. Joined Classmates and found y'all.
