After living in the Knoxville area for about 2 and a half years, we moved to Jackson, Mississippi in May of 2005. I teach geometry and upper-level math at Jim Hill High School in the Jackson Public School system. It's in a very low income area (most of Jackson is low income). You might call it a school in the hood. There's never a dull moment, as you can imagine. Coincidentally, their colors are green and gold, too.
