John's Story
Life
My life pretty much revolves around family: scouts, little league, church, school, et al. I am in investments which is high stress, but pretty fun.
Seeing people here in Yucaipa really makes me think about those I used to know, but haven't heard from for 20 something years. Can't believe Jack FM is my dad's equivelant of K-Earth 101. It struck me one day that in the 70's, the oldies but goodies music was 10-20 years old and now I often listen to...20 year old music as well. Ouch.
But, as Indiana Jones once said (I know...the ...Expand for more
eighties again!) it's not the years, it's the mileage. I've got a few miles on me now, mostly highway miles with a only a couple of rough spots. Less figuretively, high school driver ed voted me most likely to get a ticket. Yeah, that was pretty spot on. I manage pretty well now, but did get pulled over twice since I moved back a couple of years ago. (no tickets though).
I hope to hear from those I used to know, maybe especially those I wasn't closest to. That was a lifetime ago, but even with all the garbage, they were good times.
