John's Story

After graduating in 75, a year late, I went with Kevin O'Hare, who was on the swim team, to San Diego and stayed with his Uncle & nephew and from there we all went to Mexico City which was a money waster. We saw the Aztec ruins of Teotihuacan there. Then Kevin & I moved on and went to Palenque Chiapas and saw Mayan Ruins there for a few days. Then onto the beach at Puerto Arista, Chiapas which is about 100 miles this side of Guatemala on the Pacific coast. We stayed about 2 two more weeks on the beach and ate fresh shrimp, and surfed before we returned to the states. I found a job on a farm 7 miles east of Kanab, Utah on the train coming back. There I handled irrigation for wheat twice a day and made lots of signs for his business and land. Also designed a house and helped build a pool in the sandstone terrain with a dam. I also made two storefront signs in Kanab. I returned to Tucson after 6 months. I found a job at Kreuger Manufacturing on Flowing Wells Road north of Grant Road. I worked there designing and drafting, ordering parts and steel, expedited these parts and showed them how to assemble them there for 4 years. Then to IBM doing drafting for 3 months. Then to Hughes Aircraft Co. where I learned CADAM and then taught it. I was there 5 years and was sub contracted to Hughes for a few months before being contracted to IBM for a year using CADAM. From there I went to Seattle, Washington to contract at Boeing Aircraft Company for 19 months using CATIA. From there I came back to Tucson and contracted to Hughes Aircraft Company for 8 mo.s before going to Rohr in San Diego using CATIA. I completed my contract after 11 months and went to Boeing Commercial Aircraft in Wichita Kansas in June of 1992. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in June 1994. I contracted there until laid off in March of 1999. I was married in September 1998 for 10 years before my Wife took her biological grand kids we adopted and left. She said she met somebody and was going to marry him. I don't know where she is. I signed my divorce papers Nov-19-2009. I'm now an Independent Reliv Distributer, reliv.com has the most effective patented nutrition I have run across. People w/macular degeneration have overcome it. People who needed knee replacements no longer need them. I know of at least 150 ailments the body can overcome taking these products. My Reliv distributer # is 7310835301. My Phone 316-806-8448. Reliv is in its 21 year and in 14 countries. The wildest thing I Did in High School was at the Home Coming Game at half time. The week before the day after Halloween, A girlfriend and I were at Sal Point High watching the football game and they set up the banner that the football players run thru about 10 feet away from the spectator fence. I asked my girl friend what she would think if I ran thru that banner. She said "Go ahead. She could care less. One week later, Damian Luna came to my house on 2nd Avenue. across from Roskruge as usual before the game as we would go together to sneak in to the game. I asked him what he thought if I ran thru the banner at half time. He eagerly stated "Hey ya man, I even have a werewolf mask you can use." He went home and returned with the mask and we went to the game and jumped the fence on the visitors side and went to sit by the South announcing booth where the former Dean who was an English Teacher that year in 75 was sitting in. I was wearing a red and white shirt under a khaki jacket, blue jeans and blue and white tennis shoes with the mask in my jacket pocket. Half time rolled around and the Queen was crowned and they set up banner in the middle of the field. I was contemplating on how I would do this since it was not 10 feet away from the sp...Expand for more
ectator fence where I could run back when Damian game up to me from scoping it out from the spectator fence and said "If your going to do it, you better do it now." I looked at the clock and there was 3min 25sec left in half time. I got up and started running down the stairs zipping up my jacket and putting on the mask. I could here oos and aahs going down. I'm get 5 feet from the spectator fence when this little kid grabs both sides of the bottom of my jacket, looks up at me and says, "Who are you, I'll fight you, let me see your face" I said, "What?, out if my way, out of my way". I ended up going around the little guy and jumped the fence. I looked to my right and then left where the Tucson High football players were sitting on the bench. Behind me the Pueblo football players would come out at any moment. I started running towards this 10 X 10 foot banner with this giant Indian Warrior had a little Badger in its hands stating in big Blue letters across the top "We Got You". The guy on the left saw me first and started to put his side down. The guy on the right didn't know what was happening and was slower in getting it down. I could see all the people behind the banner in the middle bleachers. It wasn't tight where you could poke a hole in it. So I went to kick it and tripped and fell and Damian Luna said I disappeared in the paper. All the cheer leaders were screaming and yelling "Get him, get him." I was scrambling on all fours because the paper was slippery on the grass. I ran through the Cheerleaders and started to the South then turned left and jumped the spectator fence in front of the South bleachers and started North toward the middle bleachers. Pueblo fans were throwing stuff at me as I went right in-between south bleachers and middle bleachers, running to the 8 foot gate, I jumped to grab the top of the fence, pulled my self up and jumped off. Something I was good at chasing frisbee's that went over this fence. As I ran toward the ally of 2nd Street, there was boy and a girl calmly walking together. I pulled off the mask and started looking in-between the school busses parked on 6th Avenue looking for moving cars in order to get across 6th Avenue without getting hit. As I was getting to Jacobus my ally (Jacobus) at 6th Street, my neighbor who lived in the ally behind me on 2nd Ave across from Roskruge was pulling out of the ally in his friends car as I was getting there. Waving my hands, concentrating the door handle hoping it wasn't locked. I jumped in yelling, "Get out of here twice as all these people were running behind me. He asks, "What's going on?" noticing all the people running. I said, "I can't tell you now, just get out of here." He floors the 56 Chevy west down 6th Street past the stadium and made a right on 3rd Avenue. We ended up behind Mike Lasky's house on 4th street in a vacant lot where I told him what was going on. As I was buying a ticket to see the second half on 3rd Street, 2 kids ran up behind me saying, "That's him, That's him". As they got close, I looked at them as if it wasn't him and they said, "No that's not him, that's not him. and went on. I went in and people were shoulder to shoulder walking around inside the spectator fence. I went to where I was sitting and got fives and tens. The Principle was sitting a few rows in front smiling at us along with the former dean in the announcing booth next to us. The next Monday, my 6th period English class got an assignment to write about a decision you made and the consequences that would become of it. I was the 1st one done, no mistakes. As I sat down, the former dean came in and my teacher handed it to him. He read it and congratulated me on how much guts I had in front of the class.
