John's Story
Life
After leaving Whetstone HS in 1962 for Greenbrier Military School and graduating in 1964,I attended Ohio Univ beginning fall 1964.While there I joined PI Kappa Alpha Fraterity,partied a lot and married my first wife.I then attended Bliss College(1967-1968).I started at OSU in the summer of 1968 and stayed until 1971.During my time at OSU I got divorced (1969),partied a lot,got married again and had my son,John II in 1971.I began working for the Ohio Bureau Of Employment Services in 1972 ; retired from there in 2001.During this span of my life I got divorced again(1978),Partied alot with Bob Everitt and Tom Bowers.In 1981 I got married,again, to my present wife Cheryl(I gues...Expand for more
s this one finally took)got custody of my son who we raised.He graduated from Whetstone and now works there as coach and just completed his student teaching there.It's a miracle that the boy survived and that I'm still alive.I am now retired and living in Cape Coral,Florida.On the water at last!

Total of 261 qtr hrs,but not enough in any one area to get a Bachelor's degree.So I had to settle for an Associate Degree in Business.I stayed in college as long as possible(til my parents finnaly cut me off).I had a fantastic time in school,but I guess you have to start working sometime.
