John's Story
well, I completely blew off graduation
used my cap and gown money for a skateboard deck
took some courses in denton and austin
but mostly skated, surfed, ate mushrooms
and grew a big beard in those formative years...
then my daughter, sarah, was born in '91
we settled in austin, i was growing plants
working in nurseries, hanging on red river
married a preachers daughter and had a son, ethan
started a design/build firm in '96 worked my ass off
found lots of talented people to work for...Expand for more

wife decided she needed to find herself and split
a couple years ago, forty single two kids !!!
swim at barton springs and deep eddy alot
still hang out on red river, live off south congress
have many tattoos wear flip flops too much
sarah just graduated high school a year early
lifeguards at deep eddy, stays out too late
ethan is six, studies martial arts, master wiinus
and just in case you need to hear it
its not too late don't be afraid you can do it
