Life
The basics:
After earning a PhD in Theoretical Physics at U Maryland in the 80s and bumming around a bit doing some physics and this and that I returned to Fairfax Co. I have been teaching Physics at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Fairfax Co for the last 22 years (whew!) where I enjoy teaching some of the very brightest students in the US. nce resarch programs at MIT and worked as head tutor in a similar program at KAUST in Saudi Arabia. I enjoy dabbling in physics, math, and computer programming.
I am married to Kathleen Emerson-Dell and have 14 year old twins - Nora and Paul. We escape to Vermont whenever possible during the summers for at least a few weeks and I plan to spend more time there as the years go on.
