John's Story
Life
Very happily married 40 years. Retired from the Navy after 26 years. Went back to school and earned my BS degree at Valdosta State University. Have a wonderful home in Middleburg, Florida. Southern Regional Manager for Facilities Support Services company. Recently started my own consulting business for something to do when I finally retire in a couple of years. Two fantastic children, son and daughter. Both married. Two grandchidren, Heather 1997, Ian 2001. Spend my spare time spoiling my grandchildren with my wife. Enjoyed our 20 Year Reunion and would like to see another one. We ain't getting any younger.
Military
Drafted in 1965. Joined the Navy as Nuclear Power Candidate. Served 26 years. Advanced from EMFA to CWO4. Served on Four surface ships, two submarines, and two shore stations. Nothing more rewarding than the opportunity to serve my country, get a valuable technical education, and travel all over the world. May God bless this nation and our men and women serving in our Armed Forces in the battle to preserve and defend our freedom.
