John's Story

Life I grew up in Anaheim. Went to Price and Patrick Henry grades schools, Fremont Jr Hi and AHS. Was drafted into the Army in Aug 65.Retired from the Army in 1990 after 25 yrs. I recently moved back to Daleville, Al(where I retired from there Army at) About 2000, I got into playing poker online and in 2005, I won a seat to one of the World Series of Poker Events(not the Main event) and managed to cash in 64th(996 players) Got $1545 for free!! I'm doing fine. I bowl 3 times a week and average arond 185-190( I used to be better, but, I was younger) I do a lot of fishing, especially tournament stuff(NO BASSMASTER kinda stuff) within the "tri-states"(Al,GA,FL). I also play POKER!!, Both online and a casinos live. Hey, ya can't take it with ya!! lol I know i'm old now. I just got my 1st SS check!! Now , I'm gonna BOOGIE!!!!! Addin...Expand for more
g on... Like the rest of ya, I'm pushin 70. Fortunately, health is still pretty good, put "staying power" has dwindled some. lol I can't "BOOGIE" much anymore!! lol. (so it goes) I live with my "life partner- been together 4 yrs, can't get married because she would lose about $2500 a month income( Government BS). No Biggie. At our age, that "piece of paper" don't mean much! We still "Cruise" in our 66 GTO when we are up to it and hit a club(local VFW) about once a week. Life is good!!! Hope all my "surviving classmates" are well!! Johnny Ecclestone Almost the "worst day of my life"! I had to junk my 66 GTO. I wanted to bury it in my back yard, but my woman(Nancy) said NO!, Sell it for parts!! So I did and was pleased with the money I got for it. Now my "crusin car" is a 1971 Pontiac Bonneville convertible. Hope all are doing fine
