Life
After graduating from Victoria High, I attended Victoria College and SWTSU(now Texas State), graduating in 1974 with a degree in law enforcement. During college years, I developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. r eight years. Attended law school from 1982 to 1985 and practiced law in the Galveston/Houston area until 2002. Married to Deanna Jones Ellisor from McAllen, a 3rd grade teacher, we have two children, Mary, who is married and lives in Virginia and Amy, a sophmore in college. I was elected as judge of the 122nd Judicial District Court and made history as the 1st Republican elected in Galveston County since Reconstruction. Still surfing!
