Life Well, when everyone graduated, I didn't - I left joined the Army. The Army did let me go back to finish Woodlawn High, did that in 1964 Jan. Class - my last 1/2 year there was great - Warblers, Machine Shop, English ( Thank Goodness for Ms. Peeples) Back to the Army for awhile, back to Birmingham. Worked at Various Jobs finally settling into the Broadcast Television Equipment Sales Marketplace. Continued to live in Birmingham for awhile but decided to move to Georgia mainly for the airport, much easier to fly out of Atlanta than Birmingham. So I made Douglasville Georgia my next victim for 24 years. Really enjoyed the city. I even ran for City Council there and won, wasn;t sure what I was supposed to do but it was a great experience. During that time I was selling mostly to Military and Government accounts, this gave me the opportunity to travel extensively in the America's as well as overseas. Most of those were great years, my children grew up in Douglasville, graduated from High school on time ( Miracle for the Fadely's)- heck even had two of them go to College. I decided to move back to Birmingham in 1999, Wanted to be here when the World ended in 2000! LOL!! Came home, moved to the Grayson Valley area for a couple of years. Fearless Larry Friday moved in with me for awhile. That was a pair, me and Friday together again. It was like High School had never stopped! Larry ended up having Kidney failure and passed away in 2002. Really miss ole Larry! there was only one of him! I went a Woodlawn Reunion in Panama City, re-met June Hallmark Shelton and we were married in 2002. From my previous marriage's I have 3 children, Chris - 37 years old, in the U.S. Army, just came home from 2 years in Korea. He is in Bagdad now, SSGT in charge of communications. This is his 3rd tour to Iraq. He has two Children, A Panama Invasion Daughter and a Desert Storm son by his first wife, he has re-married now and has 3 step-children. That has now changed as well. Chris is in a Special Operations Group out of Hawaii, he was just in Ft. Gordon Ga. for about 6 weeks of special training and then back to Hawaii He has remarried and now has 3 more childrenm so I ha...Expand for more
