John's Story
I moved to Maine back in 1976. My moms family was from their. I guess what most folks aren't aware of is that my given name had always been Zachary, my step-fathers name was Fenn. I changed that back when I turned 18. I like living in the Bangor area; Acadia National Park is a short drive away. Still miss Fla. in the winter but I love the four seasons. I worked at a paper mill for 30yrs. as a millwright/pipefitter. I now work for the City of Bangor as a millwright/operator...Expand for more
of their wastewater treatment plant. Theirs money in Poop. Life can be crazy. Not much into the modern world of social media, like to hike and canoe a lot. Found out a long time ago that I'm pretty comfortable in my own skin. My sister Sandy still lives in Nassua County, Fernandina, my brother Steve lives in Maine near me. Plan on retiring the winters back in Nassua County someday. Miss the folks I new back in Hilliard and Callahan. Those people were the salt of the earth.
