John's Story
Life
I graduated in 74 from NMMI, but still keep in touch with some of my Eldorado friends. Married 26 years, one and only wife; 2 kids. I've had probably 50 jobs (by design) and traveled all over the planet. We lived in Africa (Sudan) for 2 years, I worked in Nigeria and other places, lived 2 years in Saudi Arabia. I served in the Army, and am still serving in a National Guard unit in Colorado. (2 weeks a year... that's how long you'll be home!) My civilian job is with the Fe...Expand for more
deral Gov't, as a law enforcement trainer. Graduated from UNM (second attempt), majored in Poli Sci, minored in Russian, learned Arabic in the Army. Life is grand and I'd love to hear from any of my friends from the class of 74!
Military
I served in the regular army from 74 to 77, then with the reserves and the Guard. I took a 7 year break in service, but am now back with the Colorado Army National Guard, and like most of my pals i went to Iraq where I was a Combat Engineer.
