John's Story
After I graduated from Banning I soon joined the Army.I went to Fort Benning Georgia for Infantry Training and was sent to the Demilatarized Zone in Korea where I saw Combat Ambushing North Korean Communist infiltrators and was able to join the Veterans of Foreign Wars.After Korea I was sent to the 82nd Airborne Division to the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment Fort Bragg North Carolina where I finished My time With the Army and came out a Sergent.I cu...Expand for more
rrently work for the State of California (Caltrans) and I operate the Draw Bridge in Terminal Island and there is a chance I might have held You up when you were driving so I could raise the Bridge to let a Ship pass.I am Married and live in My home on L street and Mc Donald with My wife Christina and Daughter Sara.My Great Grand Father moved to Wilmington almost a Hundred years ago so thats why I am still here to keep the Garcias in Wilmington forever.
