John's Story
After GBN I attended Western Mich. Univ in Kalamazoo, MI. BBA in Acctg MBA Fin. Worked for Fansteel and CF Industries then 8 years at Wilson Sporting Goods. Very interesting job where I got to meet the likes of Walter Payton, Michael Jordan and Payne Stewart. Also attended Super Bowls, play-off games and played many great golf courses all as part of my job. Went to work for Keebler Co in 1996 which was acquired by Kellogg in 2001. Met my wife Paula at WMU. We have three children: Alison(16), Alex(13) and Austin(10). Alison is a competitive dancer, HS Dance Team figure skater and runner. She was all-city, conference, district running/jumping and went to state in 3 events her sophmore year. Alex and Austin ride moto cross (much more open land here in MI)play travel hockey, golf and baseball. We play quite a few IL teams at hockey tournys here in MI.
