John's Story
Went directly into US Navy in November 1976...spent 6 years there..then left to work for DOD in a contract mode.................and remained here working military contacts ever since, opening a business that provides equipment leases , material handling items etc to the three bases within 30 miles from home nearby...My attachments to the U.S. any are what make me feel comfortable ...and my love of the sea and maritime matters makes this perfect for me...... ing here on the water has been idyllic , and my close ties with the Navy have made me happy as well, despite a fairly rocky first couple of years in the USN....I actually look back very fondly at the times we all had back then, and the experiences were priceless.I have been blessed with health, a wonderful family and good fortune, and have no complaints other than the brevity of our lives here on earth. I am now as of 8/3/10 relocated to NY and operating a successful muscle car restoration business in Owego New York Town ship.
