Day 1 I’ve been given a task to choose 10 albums that greatly influenced my taste in music. One per day for 10 consecutive days. No explanation, no reviews, just album covers. Every day I will invite someone to join in and
So Donna Edmonds Scala, Cathy Edmonds Salvia gave me the ten album thingee, in no particular order, one per day. I won't be assigning anyone homework, but here we go.
Day 2 of 10, from way more than 20 years ago today.
#3 of 10, the brilliant sophomore effort of the Phillie duo, blending multi genres and brilliant, picture creating lyrics.
#4 of 10, it's there, the White Album. If you haven't had a chance to get the new re-mastered 3 disc package, it's a must for fans.
#5 of 10 is my favorite, out of an almost impossible choice, of Stevie's Music. My favorite song writer, he can see things that most of us can't.
I'm a huge fan of Van's. Even in FB Van Groups, this one never gets mentioned. I think this is my favorite, #6 of10
#7 of 10 brings us to perhaps the best quartet ever. Coincidentally, it was recorded on my thirteenth birthday.
#8 of 10, from a very young Larry Coryell, my favorite guitar player.
#9 of 10. The Band who never gave concerts, they gave experiences.
#10 of 10. A Progressive Jazz, sometimes almost Classical, Masterpiece concept album. GW, I didn't forget, my brudda from another mudda.
