John's Story
I graduated in 1965. I played on the football team. I had a daughter by Patrica Glen in 1968. I started working for the D.C. Department of Corrections in 1969. I entered the University of the District of Columbia in 1970. I graduated in 1976 with a degree in Psychology. Within the next 10 years I was promoted thru the ranks, sergeant, Lt., Captain, Major, Assistant Warden, then Warden. I was the Warden of the Occoquan Facility in Lorton Virginia. ne builder. In 2001 and 2002 I won the Harley Davidson motorcycle NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in the Alll Harley Drag Racing Association. I was sponsored by Annapolis Harley Davidson. My son is 17 years old and he has attened Riverdale Baptist private school since kindergarden. He currently plays basketball at RIVERDALE. I live in a home in Upper Marlboro which I had built in 1997. My daughter worked as a Corrections Officer for 5 years. She now work for the Department of Housing as a procurement agent. She had 3 children,and my grandson graduated in 2009 from Mars Hiil College. He attended college on a basketball scholarship.
