John Hinds:  

John is from Mountlake Terrace, Washington. His schools include Melody Hill Elementary, Mountlake Terrace High School, Mountlake Terrace Junior High School. He later attended Highline CC (Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice), Everett CC (Law Enfocement), Olympic College (Law Enforcement). He works(ed) at John Hinds Forensic Consultant. John's interests include Art, Forensic art. Music he likes includes A Little Bit of Everything. Books he likes include Dan Brown Novels. Graduated from MLT HS in 1969 & 3 days later joined the USAF. Went into the Security Police Unit. Was stationed in Kunsan, Korea, with temporary duty in Osan, Korea & on the DMZ. Then I was assigned to Laarsbruch Royal Air Force Base in Germany ( A British Air Force Base), then Hahn Air Force Base, Germany, then Rhein-Main Air Base, Germany. I then worked for the Arlington, WA. Police Dept. for 5 years. 4 months spent as Acting Chief of Police. I then went to Bloomfield, New Mexico where I joined the Police Dept. there. Spent 2 years in New Mexico then returned to Washington State. I was hired by the Snohomish County Sheriff's Dept. where I worked as a Road Deputy for 2 years then was promoted into the Major Crimes Unit working Homicides, Kidnappings, Child Abuse cases, etc. Over the years I was injured on the job numerous times requiring 10 surgeries. In late 1993 my Doctor refused to clear me for return to duty as I had too many serious injuries. I fought it but the Sheriff's Dept. doctor agreed that I should retire based on my injuries. While working for the Snohomish County Sheriff's Dept. in 1989 I had attended numerous Composite Art Classes & had qualified as a Composite Artist. I applied to the F.B.I.
