tered Nurse for 27 years. I have worked just about all areas at one time or another. The longest was Intensive Care for 13 years. the shortest was the Emergency Room for 2 days.( I discovered that I liked getting patients when they were all patched up, and already knowing what is wrong with them.) 2 days was enough of that mess.
Now I lead a team of Intravenous Therapy Nurses and we insert IV's and special lines called PICC lines. I love my job.(It still breaks my heart to stick children though).I have to remember it is for a greater good.
I love life most days and try to make each day the very best. I believe this life is a journey and there are no do overs, so I want to enjoy each day.I thank God everyday that he has led me and blest me with so much in my life. I thank him even for the difficult times because I know they made me stronger, and He was with me every step. ( ok God,thats not saying send me more)
In addition to my three Queens, and my step-children, I have 11 grandchildren,and they are all so precious. One grandson( age 19) is being cared for by Jesus. We love and miss him so much.
