John's Story
Where to start???
Married the love of my life and still going strong and together after all these years!!
We raised three successful daughters in Grand Rapids, MI. Two are married and raising families.
The oldest, Michelle, resides in Austin, TX. Married to my son in law who is Senior VP- Operations, Luminex Corp. Michelle is a-stay-at-home- mom which is a FULL time job in itself raising two children.
Kris our second, lives locally. She works full time, along with her husband works for a local manufacturing company.
They also have two children....collectively, our four grandchildren.
Our third, Jordan, 22, currently attending Michigan State and will graduate next year and then pursue her interest as a physician's assistant. GO GREEN!!!

g SHS, remember?) at Deluxe Corporation. During my tenure, I spent 25 years in manufacturing/office management, Human Resources and 17 years in sales management. Whew!! passed in a hurry. After retiring, we started our own business; J&L Home Décor. We deal in antique and vintage furniture and accessories. I also custom build tables and other furniture from reclaimed lumber and old barn wood...We're having a blast!!! Lots of time committed to that which is our passions.
A few years back, we bought a log home on 8 acres in Pentwater, MI near Lake Michigan where we spend lots of time in the summer enjoying the attributes of this quaint and amazing gem in West Michigan.
