Heather's Story

John graduated from Rockville High in 1989. We met in December of my senior year and got married in May 1993. It doesn't seem possible that we've been married for 15 years already. We have 3 beautiful children (Kyle's 12,Amber's 10,Devin's 7) who we're so proud of...and who drive us absolutely insane sometimes! It's so true when people say that you get back in your children what you put your parents through. John must have been really bad because it couldn't possibly be because of me! Well, maybe it has a LITTLE to do with me...LOL Really though...they are great kids who are very loving, smart, and absolutely hysterical. They're at each others' throats quite often, like most siblings, but they're also the 1st to take care of each other if one of them is hurt or has a problem. They want to take care of everyone and everything, including doing our part in protecting the earth's natural resources. They amaze us every day. We've lived in...Expand for more
Florida for 3 1/2 years. John's still working in management for Home Depot (16yrs later!). I spend most of my time taking care of our children, our pets, and our home. I try to live my life by the same motto my father has always lived by....you can only be a child once but you can be immature all your life. Life is so much more fun that way! Needless to say, John & I are just big kids so we spend a lot of our family time just playing, swimming, and laughing. I LOVE doing the home improvement things & gardening and tend to pull John into anything I can't physically handle on my own. Plus, we've finally found our musical calling....ROCK BAND...the only possible way of us being the stars we wish we could be. Well, at least the only way for John and I. Our kids have legitimate talent with singing and playing the drums & guitar. Kyle can listen to a song, then pick up his electric guitar and play it perfectly! I'm so jealous...LOL!
