John's Story
Life
Enjoy my 6 wonderful nieces and nephews. Got rid of my shyness and have become an "older" teenager (without the hair).
In 1997 I was fortunate to be in a position to serve as a caregiver for my mom. As cancer has hit most of us in some way, it was perhaps the hardest and most rewarding period of my life. After settling Mom's estate, I vowed to do something that I loved. Didn't know if I wanted to go for an MBA, Law Degree, or become the next Emerill.
After years of trying to find out what I wanted, I looked up and became an airline pilot. If you fly, look up front and say hi. Life is good!

1991. Since my ex-wife hated me catching bullets for others, I returned back to the United States and entered the private sector as a financial analyst and then in the HR arena.
Lived in the hills of NY (about 100miles west of the city) for 15 years, Chicagoland for 10 years. Now during this period of transition I live in Michigan. I hope to migrate to the mountains or the East Coast in the next few years.
I love to cook, mentor, flight instruct and I'm trying to put together a "City Slicker" vacation for a few of my friends. Horses, fishing, cigars, whiskey....watch your local news for details next year.
