John's Story

Dear fellow BHS alums: Following graduation from Williams, I joined the Peace Corps and was stationed in Sierra Leone, West Africa for 3 years as a teacher/teacher trainer- no doubt the formative years of my life where I grew up and learned all too well that the world wasn't what it seemed to be. -Peace Corps Volunteer, we rolled the dice and emigrated to the Bay Area (California) in 1971 where we have raised two boys, now 44 and 38, and are now happily immersed in an active retirement after a 40 year career in education. Looking back, there have been many mountains to climb along the way, but I wouldn't change any of it, even if I could, including our memorable years at BHS. My very best regards to all.
