John's Story
Life
Hey all.
Where do I start? I am married. I have 6 kids. 5 step kids Chis, Joshua, Daniel, Ashley and John-John and one biological Johannah. I have 2 grandkids Rownan and Joshua. I live in Pottstown. We bought a house there about 4 years ago. I own my own business. I have a dog named Sugar. Because of business and so many kids, I have precious little time for hobbies but if I had to pin any down I guess it would be digital Photography and computers. I went to school for Computer Systems Technology back in 1983. I worked in the business for about 20 years and then decided to go back to college where I took software engineering. a good move for me because it opened an opportunity for me to start my own business. I have a hauling and moving business. It isn't glamorous but it is quite good money and the hours afford me the opportunity to spend a fair amount of time with my kids. My wife and I home school our children which gives them many advantages (tailored curriculum, flexible hours, greater real-world exposure, early entry into college, as well as, non-peer dependent socialization, etc.). As you can tell, I am very enthusiastic about my kids development and that is why it is a big part of my bio; it's a big part of my life.
