John's Story
Military
After Graduation, 10 days to be exact, I joined the Army, were I spent the next 8 years of my life. Basic Training in Oklahoma, then its was off to Germany for 2 years.
In 1989 I returned home to Ft. Stewart, Georgia until the Gulf War broke out and I got to spend 8 wonderful months of my life and the Saudi Arbian Desert thanks to my Uncle Sam.

then off to Berlin, Germany for brief 6 months stay.
Somethings about the Army was great, but other things such as the 8 months in the Desert with Temps. over 110 degrees every day I could have done without.
After active duty, I served in the Reserves in Chattanooga, Tn.for 2 more years. With the arrival of my daughter and threat of going back to visit Saddam once again, I decited then and there my Army carrer ws over.
