John's Story
After high school I signed up for a six year stint in the Naval Air (Mar 69). I was already working for General Motors, so I got credit for military time towards my retirement when I returned.
I got married in July of 69. Had two daughters (71 & 73). That marriage crashed and burned and was declared dead in March of 82.
In July of 82 I met my current wife at a cookout in Akron. We didn't start dating until Nov and by Feb of 83 we were married. She had two daughters by her previous husband.

ford and try as we may, we never left. We planned to move to North Carolina when I retired (which I did in Aug of 06), but my wife's diagnosis of thryoid cancer kept us here. We had even sold our home and were in the Myrtle Beach area looking for real estate when she got the call to return to Toledo for treatment. She is doing fine and has been declared cancer free!
So, here we are, retired, comfortable, and enjoying the best that life has to offer us in our cozy little brick ranch in our version of "the South", Rossford!
