alysts In the Deputy Librarians Office. I am single and currenlty reside in Hyattsville, Maryland School Ms. Blackburn, without a doubt was my favorite teacher. She not only gave students the freedom to express themselves but inspired them to do better. Even though I had many happy moments I would not want to do it over again. I think better times are still ahead.

During  an American Folklife Center Board  of the Library of Congress meeting in Middlebury,  Vermont we took  a tour to a granite quarry and foundry. The foundry was in Barre, Vermont.  It was quite an experience watching
I was in GITMO (Guantanamo). I was told  there was a movie casting  director  there. I gave them  the heroic Lewis pose🤪 This was 1968 in the summer. Probably about 110 degrees that day.

A lot of you Roosevelt High School alumni don't know that our late friend Elliott Whisonant and I joined the Navy Reserve together. Elliott  got out early but we attended several  training camps together. Rest in peace, Whiz

Most of McFarland class of 1961 all grown  up. 1964 class  of Roosevelt.  Same stadium  three years  later. Thanks  to Ira Carr Jr for sharing.

 In November  of 1968 during  a medditeranean  cruise  I visited  MT. Vesuvius  and Pompeii. Vesuvius  violently spewed super heated
Where Ivan leads, I  follow. The Knickerbocker  Theatre located at 18th and Columbia  Rd. Collapsed on January 28, 1922 due to a tremendous  two day snowfall. Ninety eight persons  were killed  and one hundred thirty three
