John's Story
Added 3/1/14.....
Like most of us, there's way too much ground to cover over the past (nearly) forty years. So.... I'll spare everyone the details and summarize:
1) Went to Ripon for 3 years
2) Moved to Vail for 5 years
3) Went back to school at Univ. of Denver (BA & MA) for 3 years
4) Worked for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) for 9 years
5) Did IPO Software company for 2 years
6) Worked for HP for 2 years
7) Went back to Andersen (became World-wide Partner) for 3 years
8) Joined Hitachi Consulting (after Andersen closure as a result of the trial with Fed Gov over Enron debacle)
9) Currently EVP for Global Consulting at Hitachi Consulting for past 12 years
10) Along the way I've...Expand for more
lived in Seattle, San Francisco (twice), Phoenix, LA, Washington DC (met my wife here), and Denver.
11) I have 4 kids (Jack-21, George-19, Cora-18, Emma-16)
12) I've always traveled throughout my career and have over 2 million air miles, worked in 19 countries and have landed at over 100 airports world-wide.
13) We currently have 2 dogs and a cat, but over the years we've had another dog, another cat, 14 guinea pigs, 2 hamsters, 17 fish, 1 parakeet, 1 parrot, and a turtle.
14) I don't ski any more, but I do still play golf, tennis, basketball with my boys, and fly fish in Montana.
15) We live in Denver and have a second home in Door County.
So there you have it. 40 years in 15 lines.
