Well upon graduating I hitchhiked down to Florida for the summer. Did a little work at construction sites under the table for expenses. Was pretty nice but tired of the rain and tornados so I headed up the east coast until mid September when I decided to head back to the mountains. That was sure some long way to be thumbing but it only took a week. Try that now. You would be lucky to get a ride at all. First part of October I enlisted into the Navy as an aircraft mechanic. I stayed with it for twenty years, traveling all over the world. Met a young lady in Virginia Beach and married her. Shortly after that we moved to Montana under orders and had two sons born there on our first visit there. Three years later we moved to Washington state and I finished out my twenty years and retired to Montana. Being busy most of my life I could not stand sitting around so I dabbled around in different jobs such as construction, plumber, cabinet maker and custom furniture manufacturing.
