John's Story
Life
left poly 72-73, got married in 78 and still married coming up on 31 yrs. Kids john and Kasandra both married and have kids, John has two boys and a girl, Kasi has a girl. Wife, Roxi works for GeneralMills in town and I drive trucks out of Rock Island,IL. Started driving around 1984 and owned acouple now I just drive. We moved out of CA to Iowa in 80, then to Chicago till 89 and now back to CedarRapids,IA. Well I did get a GED just so the kids would finish school. John is a union electrician and Kasi has a BA from Florida State. John's wife, Charlene is a hair stylist. Well, still married (shocking) , 2010 started out fun, quad by-pass heart surgery, it worked. 4 grandkids, both kids divorced now.
Workplace
I work for Vitran express driving douples out of RockIsland,IL to Indianapolis,IN 5 nites a week. I've worked for them for 11 yrs now (record for me). I drove up to st.Cloud,MN for 8 yrs then switched. Love driving in the cold (-30 and colder) the snow and ice make it still fun. I have driven the 48states for 15 yrs and plan to go back to that later on.I did alot of coast2coast and spent alot of time on the west coast. Back on the road again, 48 state with the guy I worked for before.
