John's Story

My best recollection from High school is that of a shadow. As far as I know very few people even know that I existed. Most of the friends I did make moved after a short time and never heard from them again. This is pretty much the same where ever I go, military, college, carreer ... I do the same even now except for the Glory of God and not for my self. I come, I deliver a miracle sent by God and then like the wind I am Gone because it is not about me but Him. The smile of those that recieve makes it all worth while. An answered prayer, a need met, or just the touch from God almighty is a picture of the Joy unspeakable. Seeing the blind drive cars and the lame walking is just a side effect of Gods love for everyone he touches. Yes, I have seen both and much, much more. No, I am not a pastor or minister, just an ordinary Christian learning how to walk again only this time with God instead of the world. A word of wisdom for those who can hear, God never left. He can still be found if you look. After all who can erase God. Certainly not the world. As he is alive, you are the only thing keeping yourself from God. From experience, Sadly, I have found that you won't find him in most churches either. It has been very difficult to find a place...Expand for more
that still believes that the bible is literal not allegorical. I happened to find God in the desert alone and afterwards I started reading the bible many times and many translations; then I decided to look for a church, after all I did not have any one to talk to about the things of God. Look and see; this country looks like my life before I came face to face with God. I was not looking for him before because I thought everything was beautiful and wonderful, I started looking for him as I was going down for the third time. Yes, I lost all (3 times) and now have recovered all that was lost except my family. Through it all I learned to be content with little and with much. I have found It is so much better to Give than to recieve. I have found that what I give I end up recieving pressed down shaken and running over. Funny I started giving guitars and now I have more guitars than I can play. And His name Is Jesus Christ, Immanuel (God with us). The same God that built this nation for men that loved Him. And now the men who hate God are tearing this nation apart. Funny, a "Christian" nation that set schools up to teach the word of God to all children has removed God from the education system of this government. Can this nation live again?
