John's Story
I began as an engineer doing work with Arkwin, Metco and Grumman on Long Island untilthe starvation wages ticked me off and NY got way too expensive. I left CP in 1979 to work in West Palm Beach Fl. as a Propulsion Engineer to the F-15 and F-16 engines.
Got a great offer in 1980 to work in Shutt;e Flight Operations and for 29 years I have been doing work to get satellites in orbit via the Shuttle, add science platforms to aid hungry 3rd world countr...Expand for more

helped get Cable TV going with Hughes and Ford satellites. In 1996 I began work on the Space Station to do human disease research and have software flying on it. Now I am doing the cockpit work on the next generation spaceship the Orion capsule. I wire up harnesses and test the new controls with Astronaut crews. I wish I could go for a ride with these guys and gals, maybe some day I will. I live and work near Galveston bay Texas.
