John's Story
Life
The short version. I went to grad school in Ohio (research on Long Island), worked in Indiana, then North Carolina, and now Pennsylvania. I graduated a nuclear (or nucular, if you prefer) physicist and gradually became a medical physicist. I work in a radiation therapy outpation cancer center.
I have been accepted to take the oral part...Expand for more
of the certification examination (American Board of Radiology in theraputic medical physics). That is in June, 2007.
I was married in Lancaster, PA (where I now live) to Molly Holgate (now Olmsted) and we have two children: Joel (6-5-04) and Paige (2-17-06).
In my spare time, I try to fit as many parenthetical statements into bios as I can.
