John's Story
Life
Spent 6yrs in Navy. Went to College and got both BS & AS degrees.
Worked as Engineer in Power Plant. Taught Electronics at College, later supervised that Electronics program. In 1998 moved to Arizona when I was hired as a Highway Patrolman. Promoted to Captain in 2014. I served as the President for the Arizona Fraternal Order of Police for 10 years. ce position in Hobbs, NM. Hobbs PD has 160 employees.. I don't miss the cold and the taxes!! I do miss the good food and a lot of the people.
Military
Joined NY Army National Guard in 1983. Spent about 3 1/2 years in, first as Fire Support Team, later was a Combat Medic. In 1987 went active duty in the Navy. Spent 6 yrs as a Nuclear Reactor Operator. At sea 4 year tour on USS Theodore Roosevelt. Visited 20+ countries. Desert Storm Vet. VFW Member
