John's Story

My Spouse
Pauline and I met at Auburn University and have been married since 1981.
As of July '08, Pauline is a third year seminary student (Lutheran) and attends school in Columbia SC. She'll graduate in May 2009 and be called somewhere (God only knows!) as a Pastor. Fortunately my sales career is portable!
We have a vacation house in the resort town of Helen in the north Georgia mountains that serves as our "official residence" until it shakes out in 2009.

My Pets
All the pets (rabbit, German Shepherd and horse) are gone now. I think they were broken-hearted after Claudia died.
My Kids
John (born 1982 - after the anniversary!) is finally back at school completing his accounting degree. Losing his sister with whom he was very close set him back a bit.
Our daughter Claudia, aged 18, passed away in January ('04) after a short fight with leukemia. She was an accomplished equestrian (hunter/jumper) and a lover of animals.
