John's Story
After high school, I joined the Air Force and was stationed in South Carolina for five years. Got married and got a degree in computer science. Got reassigned to an Air Force base near St. Louis and stayed there for five years. Left the AF and went to work for a defense contractor. Got my master's degree at Washington University in St. Louis. Got divorced after 10 years (no kids) and moved to Seattle because it seemed like a cool place to live. Married a girl who broke my fax machine the first time we met (she fell on it). Went to work for a software company, got into sales. Moved to San Francisco for three years, then back to Seattle for four more. ...Expand for more
Had two kids (Jack and Alexis). Took a new job and moved to Virginia, near DC. After two years, decided to move to Atlanta, and that's where I am now. Currently VP of Sales for a software company that is based in Korea. I spent a few weeks in Seoul in Jan 08 and it's a fascinating place. My office is in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, so I commute from Atlanta, 3 days a week.
