John's Story
Life
I've been married to my lovely wife Suzanne for 10 years. Our daughter, Cera Suzanne Ramos was born in June of 2005. I currently work in the media.
School
Grew up in South Pasadena and attended El Centro Elementary 1975-1979 including my teachers Ms Naulty, Miss Blackwood, Miss Richert. Then attened Arroyo Vista from 1979-1981 with my teachers Ms Ralston and Mr Giannamore. I then went to Holy Family school from 1982-1983 with my teachers Mr Wharton.
Workplace
I worked at KMEN/KGGI from 1991-1994 where i did sports updates and was the high school sports director. In 1994 I was hired at 710Talk KMPC where I worked overnights for 2 years before I was hired full time in 1996 by KABC in production. In 1999 i moved into the morning show tech dir...Expand for more
ector shift where I worked with Ken Minyard & Peter Tilden. The I worked with Mr KABC, then Brian Whitman, then Joe Crummey, then John & Ken, then Dave & Amy, then Ken Minyard again with Dan Avey and finally Doug McIntyre. I also was involved with a syndicated show called the Satellite Sisters on Saturdays. When the show went to 6 days a week in October of 2005 I left my job at KABC to join the ABC Radio Network. I recently joined KLAC as a weekend Technical Director and KRLA as a weekday Tech Dir.
I also coached High School Softball at South Pasadena High School form 1988-2003....including 2 years a JV head Coach, and the remaining years as head coach and asst coach of the Varsity team. I also spent one year as the Varsity baseball asst. coach.
